A tremendous Thursday!
Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’ Canada. Then we were joined by a few very
special guests for register, the calendar, the weather and 100 days of school.
After that we had phonics where the students continued to explore the phoneme ‘OUou ’. They were also caring friends has supported our special visitors with their phonics work.
We then had recess followed by mathematics and UOI. In
mathematics the students completed activities on writing analogue and digital
times for the hour.
In UOI the students identified transportation according to
their mode.
Our afternoon began with P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by Daily 5 where we the students completed their OWA pre-assesment.
We then had afternoon recess followed by French with Mme. Viellenueve.
Key information:
- Re-registration for the academic year 2018-2019 due as soon as possible to Mrs Burke.
- Scholastic due tomorrow.
- Show and Tell is tomorrow.
- Practice List 1 Spelling words, test tomorrow.
- Continue collecting small recyclable materials for UOI project, smaller objects preferable eg. small yoghurt pots.
